Hi, I'm Lakyn Jeane Reeves, the founder of Elevate Therapy and Wellness. I grew up in the small town of Rosepine, LA, and earned my Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Tx. Throughout my career, I've worked in a variety of settings--including outpatient orthopedic and sports clinics, outpatient pediatrics, inpatient and acute rehab, home-health, and skilled nursing facilities. This broad experience has shaped my holistic approach to care, allowing me to guide clients through every stage of recovery with expertise and compassion. My passion lies in helping people regain strength, restore mobility, and move with confidence--whether they're recovering from surgery, healing after injury, or rebuilding independence after a stroke. With experience in Sports and Orthopedic Therapy, Geriatrics, Neuro-rehabilitation, and Pediatrics, I tailor each treatment plan to meet your unique needs and goals. I'm also certified in Dry Needling and IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) and trained in advanced manual therapy techniques, which allows me to use effective, hands-on methods to relieve pain, enhance movement, and speed up healing. At Elevate Therapy and Wellness, my mission is simple: to help you heal through movement, feel your best, and live a more elevated, active life. Whether you're overcoming an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to improve mobility and balance, I'm here to guide and support you every step of the way. Outside the clinic, you'll find me spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking, or crafting.
